Flores travel warning 2026

We have been recommending that customers avoid Maumere as a start of end destination due to persistent eruptions of Mt Lewotobi. Flight are often cancelled with very short notice (e.g. 15 minutes before landing), with no advice on rescheduled flights. We are not extending to this advice and we will not support rides to or from Maumere due to earthquakes and risk of tsunami.

WE WILL NOT PROVIDE A BIKE FOR RIDES TO MAUMERE.

Please ask our sales department about starting and finishing your ride at Laranuka, with possible visits to the islands of Adonara, Solor and Lambata. You can reach Larantuka with flights via Kupang and it has not been affected by earthquakes or volcano.
